Our Master Bedroom Reveal

I’ve partnered with Raymour & Flanigan and received product in exchange for this post. All expressed opinions are 100% my own.

I’ve partnered up with one of my favorite furniture companies to furnish and style our master bedroom- Raymour & Flanigan! I truly love this company, especially because they are an environmentally friendly furniture company. They invest in recycling, energy-efficient lighting, and sustainable energy to make our planet a little greener. Talk about lovely!!

The sales team is always very friendly, polite and helpful. We were offered bottled water as soon as we walked in. I asked our consultant to allow us some time to look around the store first. He was so friendly and remained in close proximity in case we had any questions about an item, but gave us enough space to do our own thing.

When we moved into our house this summer, we had two weeks before baby Emmy was born to get things in order. Over the last 6 months I spent time making sure my daughters’ rooms were decorated and every other room BUT our bedroom, yet our bedroom is probably the room we spend the most time in, especially as a co-sleeping family with a brand new baby.

But now that Emmy is 8 months old, we’ve gotten into a nice routine and don’t spend as much time in the bedroom. We still spend a lot of time in there though, so I wanted the room to be a relaxing space. I also knew I wanted to have an area where I could sit and read with the girls (see reading area below).

Raymour & Flanigan truly made our vision come to life for our master bedroom. I didn’t realize how difficult it could be to design and style a master bedroom from scratch. Selecting a color palette in itself was a time consuming process. I knew I wanted bright and cool tones, but still wanted it to have some warmth.

I ended up choosing whites, blue tones and gray, with touches of teal and gold for our color palette. The color blue has warm and cool tones, which made it very easy to coordinate them all. At first I was leaning towards a bold navy blue as an accent color but ended up going with pale blue because I found it to be more crisp and soothing for the bedroom.

I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and hope you enjoy our bedroom tour below. Thank you, R&F for making the process so smooth for this busy mama! xx
